WHO are League members?
EVERYONE, 16+ may join the League.
The League may have began as a womens' suffragist movement over 100 years ago, but the League is open to all genders.
We are an organization fully committed to inclusion in principle and in practice. Everyone should be engaged in helping voters and defending democracy.
WHAT are the membership types?
Individual
Household (2 people in same home),
35 & under
Student
Lifetime
We seek to remove any barriers to membership. If there is any need-based reason to waive dues please contact us at info [at] lwvlmn.org!
WHY join the League?
Members are automatically part of the local, state League of Women Voters of Pennsylvania, and national League of Women Voters of the United States.
Members have unique access to resources, programming and training at the local, state, and national levels.
Members add their voices to 850+ leagues across the United States.
Members engage in League studies to review and influence League advocacy.
Members are part of setting the League budget, policies and programming via a democratic process at the biannual State and National Conventions and locally via the League's Board.
Members support, and join in, over 100 years of League history engaging voters, educating communities and defending democracy.
Members have special opportunities to engage and inform their neighbors, friends, and family about key election information from preparing civic and other educational materials to planning community events like candidate forums.
HOW much time do members spend?
As much, or as little, time available!
It is up to the individual member.
Some members simply join to support the League or get local updates.
Other members take on a more active role; including, taking a leadership role, volunteering to oversee events, registering and supporting voters, educating the community, communicating with newsletters, updates and social media posts, planning candidate forums, advocating and lobbying for the League's policies, and so much more!

NEW Members:
1. Fill out the Membership Contact Form
This information is for internal League purposes only.
For Household Members, be sure to include the additional members' contact information in the Form.
2. Submit payment for Membership Dues
Individual ($60), Household - 2 members in same home ($100), 35 & Under ($35)
Students and Lifetime members are FREE and can skip the payment portion.
*Note, a PayPal account is not required to use the PayPal platform.

RENEWING Members:
1. No form is needed unless information has changed or you can email us at info [at] lwvlmn.org.
2. Submit payment for Membership Dues
Individual ($60), Household - 2 members in same home ($100), 35 & Under ($35)
