The panel will provide background on the development of a renewed LWVIL position on criminal justice, which in the current climate of our country is more significant than ever.  Areas to be explored will include bias in the criminal justice system, policing, and incarceration.  

Panelists will be members of the LWVIL Criminal Justice Position Update Committee:  Beverly Graham, Laura Davis, Sharon Welch, and Janet Kittlaus.

With a renewed position on criminal justice, the Illinois league will be more prepared to advocate on pending and future legislation, which will impact citizens throughout the state.
