Primary elections for Delaware's two major political parties: Democrats and Republicans. Primaries select these party's candidates for the November general election. Polls are open from 7am to 8pm. Delaware also provides 10 days of early, in-person voting for primary elections.
The Sussex LWV will sponsor a candidate forum for County Council District 3, featuring Mark Schaefer (incumbent) and Dana Paskins or Jane Gruenebaum (pending the August 10 primary). The event will also be live-streamed on
General Election Day - Nationwide. Delaware polls are open from 7am to 8pm. Delaware's law providing 10 days of early, in-person voting at selected locations is currently being challenged in court; early voting may not be provided prior to this year's general election .
