Capital Area Leagues Will Come Together for NYS Legislative Coordination Meeting

All members are invited to join us when the LWV of Albany County hosts a virtual meeting for all four Capital Region local leagues. Jennifer Wilson, our State Legislative Director, will help us become familiar with the State Legislative Agenda and consider potential NYS legislation for the 2021 session, which will determine our advocacy. Topics we will look at include election legislation, redistricting, court reform, education financing, women’s issues, and environmental issues, and others.
