This Tuesday, January 12, 6:00 pm, your League of Women Votes of Mendocino County will hold its annual gathering for members and community as we share thoughts with each other on which issues of concern we should focus on through education & advocacy in the coming 2021/2022 year. We will also consider opinions to share with our California League regarding statewide LWV issues for emphasis.
The following are local issues adopted for 2020-2021:
- Democracy, including Civil Discourse & Redistricting
- Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Racism
- Health Services, including Behavioral Health
- Environment/Climate Emergency
Should we keep any of these, add to them, choose other focuses?
Join us in our discussions this Tuesday. Membership in LWV is not required for you to share your thoughts, but all genders and ages are welcome and encouraged to join LWV of Mendocino County in our efforts with other community partners to keep democracy strong.
Tuesday's meeting will open at 5:30 - bring your favorite snacks & beverage! It will feel good to see each everyone again in this new year.
