Our first General Membership Meeting of the 2026-2027 Year will be held on August 12, 2026 at 5:30 PM at the Boardman Branch of the Public Library of Youngstown & Mahoning County. This Meeting is open to the public.
On August 8, 2026, join the League of Women Voters, as we host a nationwide day of civic action in honor of the anniversary of the Voting Rights Act of 1965.
Aditi Srivastava, Tax Policy Researcher of Policy Matters Ohio, will discuss property taxes, including recent changes that have been signed into law, and the proposed constitutional amendment to eliminate property taxes.
Please join us for a virtual general membership meeting. We will be reviewing the current State of the Greater Youngstown League, reviewing some new and pending Ohio legislation, and looking forward to achieving our priorities for 2026.
We are so excited to have John N. Howell, Ph.D. present this important & timely program on how our monetary system effects our democracy. As part of our mission of voter education, this event is open to the public.
