PROPOSED STATE LAWS WILL DRASTICALLY CHANGE SINGLE FAMILY NEIGHBORHOODS

SB9 and SB10 have passed the CA State Senate and will be heard in the Assembly as early as 8/16/2021.These bills will mean the end of single-family zoned neighborhoods throughout California. They permit developers and real estate investors to build (with ADU’s) 6 units of market-rate housing (SB9) or 14 units (SB10) – and NO affordable housing is required.

Taxpayers will bear the costs of increased demand on schools, parks, water, sewers, power grids, and public safety personnel.

State Legislation: SB 9 & 10

SB9 is MANDATORY, so unless you act NOW, you will lose your right to object to the structures being built next door to you after SB9 is passed.
