Come and join the League of Women Voters and its coalition partners for this virtual discussion. This event focusing on the Gender Pay Gap will take place on Women's Equality Day. This is the first in a series of action-oriented events during the 100th Year of Women's Suffrage focused on closing the gender pay gap. It is presented by the Coalition for Pay Equity, a group of organizations from the Charlotte area that have committed to making equity in wage earning a reality for women. This event will be a panel discussion moderated by Keri Potters, former VP of the Institute for Women's Policy Research. Panelists include Corie Pauling, cheif inclusion & diversity officer and head of CSR at TIAA; Pamela Yang, executive career coach, former Nike and ESPN marketer; Gris Bailey, president, Latin American Chamber of Commerce – Charlotte; and Julie von Haefen, NC House Representatives. Panelists will talk about their real-life experience in closing the pay gap across a variety of disciplines and industries.
