$5000 League of women Voters of the Redding Area Campaign to Upgrade Electronic Voters Services

This year the League is participating in the North State Giving Tuesday event to raise $5000 to Upgrade our Electronic Voter Services.  Accurate and timely information about elected government positions, the election process, and ballot issues can aid every Shasta County citizen in making voting decisions that benefit them, their families, and their community. The League of Women Voters of the Redding Area has a mission that includes providing such information.

Unfortunately, resources have lagged behind the need. If successful, the funds obtained through this campaign will allow the League to modernize and upgrade the quality and suite of its electronic communication systems and provide training to volunteers. The League would do this by engaging local IT firms and, if possible, computer and information systems students from Shasta College.
