Community Activities

I was a town meeting member in the early 1990s and later worked for the town as the Director of Social Services.  I am currently a member of the Select Board’s Committee on Special Permit Residential Development.  This committee is looking to make zoning regulations amenable to construction of a variety of housing. I am currently the Director of the Lexington Chamber of Commerce.

I have coached soccer, ran a girl scout troop, and managed the town wide after-school programs in Lexington.  I am a graduate of Lexington High School, Colby College, and  Brandeis University. My familiarity with Lexington from a variety of perspectives will allow me to make informed decisions about the issues that come before town meeting.   

Why are you running for a position as a Town Meeting Member?  Is there a particular issue you hope to address?

I am very interest in the ability of zoning regulations and their effect in creating a vibrant and inclusive town.
