Community Activities

As a proud resident of Lexington for the past 15 years, I live with my husband, two children, and our beloved labradoodle. I have consistently been a dedicated and highly active volunteer, and after being elected as a town meeting member in 2019, I further dedicated myself to the community by completing the Lexington Citizens Academy certification. I have consistently demonstrated my commitment to the town through my service on the Town Celebrations committee and my ongoing role on the Vision committee. I have played a key role in organizing cultural events that bring residents together, foster a sense of community, and raise funds for local organizations. Additionally, I am currently the Vice President of Indian Americans of Lexington, and I was involved in mask drives during the Covid lockdown.

Why are you running for a position as a Town Meeting Member?  Is there a particular issue you hope to address?

As a realtor with an accounting background, I am deeply committed to finding solutions to the challenges facing our town, such as balancing residential taxes while preserving our heritage and protecting the interests of seniors and our schools. I am inspired by the leadership and governance of Lexington and feel honored to call this diverse town my home and place of work.

I am now running for re-election as a town meeting member, driven by a desire to fulfill my civic duty and continue to give back to the community through my volunteer work. I hope to serve another 3-year term and would be grateful for your support. Please cast your vote for me on March 6th!
