Why are you running for a position as a Town Meeting Member?  Is there a particular issue you hope to address?

I am running for reelection to Town Meeting, I have served since 2010. Although there is not a particular issue of paramount importance to me, I do try to be supportive of the various town-wide elected and appointed committees.  

• These are challenging times for our town. The change in zoning necessitated by the Commonwealth’s new requirements will, in the long term, put a strain on our services especially our schools. It is important to me that our schools remain excellent.
• As a Town Meeting member, I have always looked for ways to improve the efficiency of our town government. I look for ways to increase our tax base without changing the essential character of the town.
• During my thirteen years in Town Meeting, I have never missed a meeting or a vote.
• I try to respond to every inquiry from residents of my precinct.  I want to hear from you regarding town issues that concern you.
