Why are you running for a position as a Town Meeting Member? Is there a particular issue you hope to address?

While I have made contributions to the town over the years, these were limited by the international and domestic travel required by my professional career. However, I am now retired and believe there is more that I can now contribute, acting as a Town Meeting member, representing the interests of those in precinct 9, and working with fellow TMMs to support responsible review and analysis of matters before Town Meeting in the years to come. I spent much of my career working to bring people together to solve problems efficiently and effectively to improve the world we live in. I hope to foster closer connections between residents and their interests with town planning and actions.

I have expertise in transportation, finance, and residential building issues. I have deep respect for the town’s educational services. All four of my daughters were educated in the Lexington public schools. My wife and I have lived in Lexington for 32 years. I have walked virtually every trail across our conservation lands, walked and or cycled virtually every street and paid close attention to developments in town since we moved here back in 1990. With your support, I will help make this town an even better place to live and work.
