NewsAttorney Tauya Forst recently sat down with Mary Hobein, a member of LGWVDGWL to discuss the subject of restorative justice. Mrs. Forst has amassed an impressive range of legal experiences. She was a mitigation specialist in a death penalty case and disposed of more than 200 juvenile cases in Will County with a Rule 711 license. Later she founded her own firm and was general counsel to 20 small- to medium-size companies. Now Forst is at College of DuPage, where she teaches in the Criminal and Justice Studies program. It brings together all her passions – restorative practices, law, and education.
