What is the Lexington Affordable Housing Trust? Who lives in affordable housing? What is the need for affordable homes? What are the benefits of affordable housing? Article 33 on the 2024 Town Meeting Warrant is seeking to authorize the Select Board to use the Town-owned land at the corner of Lowell Street and North Street for the purpose of affordable housing.
First Friday will feature Elaine Tung, Chair of the Lexington Affordable Housing Trust and Mark Sandeen, Trustee of the Lexington Affordable Housing Trust and Select Board Member, who will answer these questions and present information on the opportunities for affordable housing in Lexington.
Join Elaine and Mark and the League of Women Voters on Friday, March 1, 2024 for a First Friday program at the Lexington Community Center, Room 237, 9:30-11:00 AM.
