Community Activities: 

My name is Johan Lindborg and I am running for the school committee in Lexington. I am a father of two children, both of whom have been or are in the Lexington Public School System. In 2011, my family moved to Lexington partly because Lexington offered an excellent education and as my son has Down syndrome, education is very important to me. I believe in a commonsense approach to learning and as such I believe it is crucial that parents are well informed of what is going on at school and students are given the support and the opportunity to succeed on their individual merits.

What do you foresee will be the major issues confronting the School Committee during the period of construction and transition to the new High School?

The overall goal is to ensure the transition is as seamless as possible, enabling students to achieve academic success.
