A Voice for Citizens, A Force for Change
The League of Women Voters operates at three levels (local, state, and national) reflecting the levels of government in the United States. The LWV of Johnson County is a local League, but is also a part of the LWV of Iowa and the LWV of the United States. As a local League, we study and advocate on issues of local government, provide voters service with many candidate forums, legislative forums, and public meetings on governmental issues.
