Johnson County voters will be asked to approve a $30 million conservation bond on the November 5 general election ballot. Join League members and cosponsors on September 25, 6:30 pm at the Iowa City Public Library to hear from Pat Heiden and Josh Schamberger, co-chairs of the Our Land, Our Water, Our Future Committee and Brad Friedhof, Johnson County Conservation Program Manager who will highlight the 15 different projects funded by the 2008 conservation bond. They will look to the future and the anticipated benefits of the proposed $30 million conservation bond.
