On May 1, the Manitowoc League of Women Voters and RUTH, the Interfaith Justice Group will co-sponsor a discussion:
"Our County Without Immigrants, Myths, Facts, Resources"at First Lutheran Church 521 N. 8th St. Manitowoc in the Fireside Room from 6 PM - 8 PM on Thursday, May 1st.
The evening presentation with community members, farmers, business owners, & an immigration attorney gathers to dispel myths, present facts and share resources with all who are impacted by the many actions and changes occurring here in the county. Come on Thursday May 1st to clarify, learn and support your neighbors.

Immigration policies should promote reunification of immediate families; meet economic, business and employment needs; and be responsive to those facing political persecution or humanitarian crises.
