Join Alex Tsouvalas as he shares his personal journey learning about lawns and lawn care here in Lexington as well as in the United States. Walking his dogs each day, Alex started noticing certain lawncare practices in his neighborhood. This got him asking question about his beliefs and assumptions he had regarding lawns and what makes a yard beautiful. What he learned really surprised him. What stared out on a dog walk has become a passion project sharing what he has learned about lawns. For example, how we maintain them, the chemicals, and pesticides we use, and the role they play in our ecosystem. He hopes we can keep an open mind so we might consider rethinking some of our assumptions. Alex lives in Lexington with his wife, their daughter (a student at LHS), along with their two dogs, Percy and Marv. He works in IT and is not a landscaper or lawncare expert.
