League of Women Voters is bringing democracy closer to home!

Listening Table events invite local candidates and community members to sit down together in open, welcoming spaces. These small, informal gatherings bring community members and candidates together - not for debates, but for conversations. They are a chance to share what matters most in your daily life and allow candidates to listen directly in advance of elections.

Think of it as pulling up a chair at the kitchen table—where questions are honest, conversations are lively, and every voice matters.
 

Listening Tables are currently scheduled for Scottsville, Greene County and Louisa County.
