On March 28, 2026, the League of Women Voters of Downers Grove, Woodridge, and Lisle proudly hosted No Kings 3 in Downers Grove, drawing an impressive crowd of approximately 1,000 attendees. The event was defined by its remarkably peaceful, positive atmosphere, serving as a vibrant hub of civic engagement across generations. It was truly inspiring to see people of all ages—from students to seniors—gathering together to champion democratic principles. Many people expressed an interest in joining the league and enthusiastically signed our "Pledge to Vote" banner. The overwhelming turnout and the constructive spirit of the day underscored our community’s deep commitment to a future built on shared values and active participation.
