SAVING DEMOCRACY Saving Democracy is our main goal but another goal this year is to improve communication . . . with each other, the national League and the public. To that end the Communication Committee and I encourage each of you to check out our LWVRA Webpage. It is located on the host platform of the League nationwide called MyLO. In the following months we will discuss our use of our webpage, Facebook, Instagram and our YouTube videos. We pay for these methods of communication and intend to improve their content so all our members can find timely and pertinent information about the organization. Our first objective is to encourage all members to familiarize themselves with our webpage and then to encourage everyone to complete their Profile for the national league. To access our webpage: type LWVRA into your browser search bar. Click on the result: “Redding Area/MyLO– League of Women Voters. “Next click on “login “at top right page. If you have never logged in before, click “register. “Create a username and password to create an account and login. Yay! You have reached our webpage where we will be posting important news, documents, announcements, and minutes of our meetings. Next… Once you are registered, you can easily visit our national website and create or update your profile. Click on the yellow “LWV member portal” tab at the top left page. That will take you to your account. Now you can click on any of the boxes for more information but first please click on the Profile box to edit your profile as needed.
