NEW LWV MEMBERSHIP PORTAL
The LWV is transitioning how members pay their dues each year. Starting this year, 2025, members will pay dues directly to the LWVUS. Please visit the LWV membership portal to register/renew your membership and pay dues:
When you join the League, you will be a member at all levels - local, state, and national. Dues are sliding scale, with a recommended rate of $75 per person.
LWVUS will send a portion of the membership fee to our local Long Beach Area league. A direct donation to our local league can be made by visiting the Donate page and submitting a payment via PayPal.

The League of Women Voters, a nonpartisan political organization,encourages informed and active participation in government and influences public policy through education and advocacy. We do not support or oppose any political party or any candidate. We do, however, take action on selected government issues in the public interest.
We are actively looking for new members in the Long Beach, Lakewood and Signal Hill areas. While we welcome all ages and both men and women, we are looking for the Millennials to get involved. If you are a High School or College student please consider our low cost membership fee of $10 and get ENGAGED in your community by working with passionate people with the same goal of DEFENDING Democracy. Get involved in EMPOWERING voters by working to educate our community on topics and policies that effect everyone!
