Upon invitation from the committee, LWVNC provided testimony to the North Carolina House of Representatives Committee on Oversight and Reform for its June 22 hearing.

The League has registered to walk in the 4th of July parade in Ames.  Please join us for this walk (don't test your strength if it is extremely hot!).

Join us at the Ames public library to make posters to carry in the 4th of July parade.  We will meet Friday, June 23rd, 3-5pm, in the Dan Foss room.  We will be making posters to send the message of whawt the League is marching for in the parade.
