The NC Senate in a nearly unanimous vote passed a Medicaid Expansion bill which will be going to the NC House of Representatives for a vote.

Women’s rights include economic equality, political equality, legal/judicial equality, health care equality, and freedom from: gender bias/misogny, gender-based violence, and racism as a multiplier of inequality.

HB 673 provides much needed additional funding for electronic poll books and equipment for county boards of elections. It will provide funding to each county board of elections in proportion to the number of registered voters in each county.
