As you know, North Carolina's primary will be held May 17. The following day, state legislators will return to the General Assembly for a short session. It is our hope that they will amend the state budget to fully fund the Leandro plan. To learn more about the urgent need, open the attached Short Session letter (Attached Item 1).  

Please spread the word to your networks: It's imperative that folks 1) contact their state legislators about the urgent need to fully fund public education and 2) vote in the coming days for candidates who want to do exactly that.
