The NC Senate in a nearly unanimous vote passed a Medicaid Expansion bill which will be going to the NC House of Representatives for a vote. Prospects are favorable that North Carolina will finally accept federal dollars which will extend healthcare to over 600,000 to its lower income citizens. The bill would also benefit residents state-wide by making it easier and less expensive to get treatment. Currently it is unclear when the House will be voting on this bill. We are asking you to call your NC House member and ask them to support and vote for MEDICAID EXPANSION.
