We need as many members of the LWV of Charlotte Mecklenburg as possible to come out and march with us in the 2022 Charlotte Pride Parade!  The Pride parade is the largest annual parade in Charlotte, and offers us a terrific opportunity to let the public know that we are a powerful force for democracy in our community.

You MUST be in the staging area by no later than 11:30 am and the parade will start at approximately 1 pm (rain or shine).  To cope with potential heat, you may bring an umbrella for shade or a hat and plenty of water.  Comfortable walking shoes are a must!  Our CafePress shop has been stocked with LWV Pride logo items which are available for order now. We will provide signs and flags to carry.  We strongly encourage taking public transportation or ride shares into uptown Charlotte. The parade estimates thousands of attendees and a Charlotte Knights game and a Charlotte FC match are taking place the same day.

LWVCM Board member Carolyn Lyons will act as parade monitor and point person. When you sign up, she will contact you and provide her cell number for use on parade day along with more details.
