The Women’s Issues Action Team of LWVCM is sponsoring a special pre-midterm speaking event on ZOOM scheduled for Thursday, November 3rd - 2:00-3:30 PM. Dr. Susan Roberts-Political Science Professor at Davidson College is the featured speaker speaking on: “The 2022 Midterm Election:Women Candidates, Women Voters and Gender Stereotypes."

Dr. Roberts holds a Ph. D and M.A. from the University of Notre Dame and a BA from Wake Forest University. Her area of expertise is on U.S. and N.C. politics as well as Reproductive Rights. She teaches courses on Congress, the President, Political Parties and Interest Groups and Public Policy at Davidson. Audiences of radio and television are familiar with her commentation and frequent appearances on WFAE, WUNC, NC Public Radio, NPR, Spectrum TV and WSOC, WCNC, BBC and FOX 46. She is a recent recipient of the Diane Blair Award presented biennially to a political scientist who played an outstanding role in political and/or government during their career.
