A chance to learn about the Charlotte Reproductive Action Network (CRAN), a coalition of a dozen organizations working on reproductive rights, health and justice, will be offered at the virtual League Talk, Tuesday, Dec. 8, 6:30 pm. Amber Smith, head of Partnerships for CRAN will give an overview of the organization, its advocacy goals and activities.

She is seeking a partnership with LWV of CharlotteMecklenburg in their work. The League’s position on reproductive rights is “The League of Women Voters of the United States believes that public policy in a pluralistic society must affirm the constitutional right of privacy of the individual to make reproductive choices.” LWVCM has previously partnered with CRAN on voter registration efforts.
