Voter Services Action Team

Voter Registration

The Voter Services Team is in action throughout the year helping citizens register to vote.

Voter Registration in our Community

One of the primary functions of the League is to register eligible voters in our communities. We do this by community out reach, helping engage our young voters by hosting registration drives in high schools and engaging in local non-partisan events. We also partner with organizations such as Levine Museum of the New South and CPCC to register citizens in Mecklenburg and the surrounding counties.

If you are interested in volunteering or would like to inquire about hosting a registration drive in your work place, neighborhood or community event, etc., please contact the Director of voter services at voterservices [at] goleaguego.org

Voter Registration at USCIS Naturalization Ceremonies

Charlotte hosts a United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) office. The office sponsors naturalization ceremonies most Tuesdays and Thursdays during the year. Members of Leagues throughout the country attend ceremonies in their local areas to assist our newest citizens in registering to vote. Our League volunteers attend the local naturalization ceremonies to sign up new citizens to vote.
