In 2020, the League of Women Voters of Greater Cleveland will be celebrating three anniversaries:

Lakewood suffragists

The League of Women Voters (LWV) of the U.S. founded Feb. 14, 1920

The LWV of Cleveland (now Greater Cleveland) founded April 1920

Women's right to vote won August 1920. 
The 19th amendment to the U.S. Constitution, granting Women the right to vote, was ratified by the 36th state (Tennessee) on Aug. 19, 1920, then certified and officially inserted into the U.S. Constitution on Aug. 26, 1920
