Join the LWVHHI-BA Zoom meeting on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at 10:00 am. Our guest speaker is Chris deVries, who has done extensive research into registered voters' election participation by district and will share this information. We will be discussing how to address how to improve voter participation in the 2024 elections, in particular at the state and local levels.

About Chris deVries
Ms. deVries has played leadership roles in a variety of non-profit associations, including as the Deputy Executive Director of the American Nurses Association (ANA) and the Chief Executive Officer/Executive Vice-President of the American Association for Geriatric Psychiatry (AAGP).
Chris moved to Hilton Head full-time in 2015 and uses her experiences enacting public policy initiatives and her leadership skills as a volunteer serving on the Boards of multiple organizations.
She received her B.A. in geology from the College of Wooster (Ohio), her M.A. in public policy/women's studies from George Washington University (D.C.), and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in public administration/public policy.
