Voting Procedures for National and State Elections

There are several important changes in ways to vote in the upcoming election. As a service to its members and Yolo County residents, the Adult Education Committee of Congregation Bet Haverim, Davis, is presenting a voting information session. On Sunday, September 6, 2020 at 2:00 p.m., Jesse Salinas, Yolo County Assessor / Clerk-Recorder / Chief Election Official will speak about voting procedures for national and state elections. Discussion will include changes regarding Vote by Mail (VBM), Ballot Drop Boxes, and Neighborhood Voter Assistance Centers (VAC). A question and answer period will follow.

Our next Meet and Mobilize (M/M) push will be canvassing in area neighborhoods to educate voters about issues on the ballot and encourage them to get out and vote. This event will be in the Libby Heights neighborhood near Westside Park.
