This hearing will provide an opportunity to hear directly from individuals on how future political boundaries may impact representation in their community. All public comments will be shared with the Tennessee House Redistricting Committee and the Tennessee Senate Redistricting Committee who are responsible for drafting statewide maps that will determine changes to political boundaries for Congressional, TN Senate, and TN House districts. The League of Women Voters is committed to advocating for fair maps, with all voices considered and equitably represented.
We are actively encouraging interested Tennesseans to give brief (3 minute), informal statements regarding redistricting. If you would like to give a statement, contact Debby Gould, LWVTN President, at: president [at] lwvtn.org. (Written statements are also welcomed and may be submitted at this email address.)
