Currently, six Climate Change bills have been forwarded to the House Environmental Regulations Committee for further consideration. The bills are HB-928 and HB-942 (Anchia), HB-1491 and HB-1980 (Reynolds), HB-3023 (M. Gonzalez), and HCR-15 (Raymond).
These bills examine the impact of climate change on our environment and local populations, and significantly advance Texas’ efforts in addressing this most far-reaching global problem. Although only 12 “climate-change” bills were filed this Legislative session, we are fortunate that the current sample is of high quality and appropriately timed for this session.
Please contact the members of the Environmental Regulations Committee, encouraging them to schedule a hearing for these bills.
