In August 2018 Dallas County Community Colleges and the League of Women Voters of Dallas are introducing a new friend, Inspire US.  Inspire US is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that supports Student-Driven Voter Registration and Turnout in high schools across the country.  In the last three years they have helped more than 48,000 high school students from 321 schools in nine states register to vote with students in those states voting at a higher rate than the statewide average of their peers.

Inspire is expanding to the Dallas area and has funding to support 25-30 school campuses in 2018-19.  Our goal is to help make this as easy as possible for schools, and we will also provide district- and school-level voter registration and voter turnout reports to share impact.

Inspire US will be up and running on all DCCCD campuses by spring 2019.  As part of the Inspire US rollout, the League will be working alongside them beginning in August 2018.

If you are interested in helping with Voter Registration with the Dallas County Community Colleges, please email Karen Bassett, LWVD Director of Voter Registration, at kbassettdallas [at]  She will need your name, email address, and phone number.  If you would like to request a specific campus, we will do our best to accommodate.
