Voter Protection

Voter Protection

In 2020, Texas must protect all voters.

Every year, thousands of Texas voters lose their opportunity to vote because our election system can be too confusing and difficult to understand.

That is where you come in. The League of Women Voters is a member of a coalition of civil rights organizations training a force of nonpartisan volunteers to be experts in Texas Election Code, who can identify and fight against voter suppression, intimidation, and the spread of misinformation.

Join us by signing up below, and let's make sure all of our votes are protected.

Legal changes make it possible that numerous registered voters will find their registrations challenged by poll watchers recruited by activists in one of the political parties, according to news reports. Texas Voter Protection welcomes all volunteers, and especially needs lawyers, law students, and fluent Spanish speakers.
