Join us for a timely and meaningful community conversation as part of the Tom Tom Festival.
In a time when civic engagement can feel overwhelming, polarizing, or even risky, courage often shows up not in grand gestures—but in everyday choices: to listen, to stay engaged, to speak with care, and to remain curious across differences.
As part of the festival’s 2026 theme of Courage, the League invites you to Courage to Participate, a facilitated small-group dialogue focused on building civic courage—our ability to listen, speak, and engage thoughtfully across viewpoints. This interactive Civic Circles session offers a welcoming space to practice understanding others, share your perspective, and strengthen the skills that support healthy civic engagement.
Rather than debating issues or advocating positions, Civic Circles focus on human experience, dialogue, and connection—helping participants explore how courage is practiced in ways that strengthen our shared future.
Whether you are new to community dialogue or experienced in civic engagement, this program invites you to connect, reflect, and grow alongside fellow community members.
Come be part of the conversation...courage starts with participation!
