We will discuss the LWVSHR Green Space position and rising sea level. We’ll take advantage of the location to look at Knitting Mill Creek. Ruth Martin, League member and leader of the Lafayette Wetlands Partnership will tell us how a citizen-based initiative increased wetland habitat and improved water quality in an urban river.
