Please join us for a community event celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Clallam County League of Women Voters, which was formed in 1968. A highlight of the afternoon will be two dramatic readings of Shattered Ceilings, celebrating American women of courage who worked hard to get the right to vote in 1920, and the formiddable women who carried the torch of civic engagement through the decades. Shattered Ceilings is directed by stage and television actress and LWV member Carol Swarbrick Dries.
Two performances on March 18th: one at 1:30pm and one at 4:00 pm.
Tickets are $20 each, available online at lwvcla.brownpapertickets.com, or from Port Book and News in Port Angeles and the Visitor Information Center at the Sequim Chamber of Commerce. Tickets are $25 each at the door (if available).
Don't miss the historical exhibit of the League of Women Voters' work in Clallam County over the past 50 years. Refreshments will be served.
