Also learn about engaging with the legislature in a separate session on February 7. Called “Speak-up School”, this session will include the following topics:

• How to use the legislative web site for legislation and additional background
• How to use the League's legislative newsletter
• How to testify effectively
• How to talk to legislators in one-one or small group meetings

This session will also prepare League members and others for Democracy Lobby Week with Fix Democracy First, to be held the week of January 22-26, 2024.
