The League of Women Voters of Beloit will be assisting citizens to register to vote at the Juneteenth Day, hosted by the Rock County YWCA, celebrating the annual observance to remember when Union soldiers enforced the Emancipation Proclamation and freed all remaining slaves in Texas on June 19, 1865.
