The LWV of Beloit supports:

• expansion of financial support for the Beloit Public Library from public and private sources on an equitable (fair and just) basis the library's ability to provide:
  • timely and accurate responses to requests for information to support local job searches, lifelong learning, and an informed electorate
  • timely access to current, high-demand materials
  • a user-friendly facility  
  • adequately paid full and part-time staff with benefits of sufficient size to meet community needs.
  • Improved ways to use space and staff which are the result of the nput from all stakeholders: board, director, staff, and public.
• multicultural activities for teens
• adherence to the principles stated in the American Library Association's Library Bill of Rights, 1996 revision.
