Beth Hudak, a LWVGGB member and with House of Hope, will hopefully be there to talk
about House of Hope's efforts with homeless women and their families being served in Green Bay. In support of House of Hope's efforts, the board of the LWVGGB ask that you consider bringing gift cards to the Holiday Celebration that will be given to the House of Hope residents to help them provide a wonderful family holiday. Beth said when asked, "Each holiday season, rather than having our families "adopted," we ask our supporters to donate gift cards. By donating gift cards to House of Hope, young parents are empowered in their ability to select holiday presents for their children and themselves and the House of Hope is able to provide necessary basic need items to all of our families. Gift cards put decision making power in our clients' hands, support the needs of day-to-day shelter operations, and enable House of Hope to direct our financial resources to other critical needs." Even if you can't join us for the Holiday Event, please consider providing some gift cards to House of Hope this holiday season.
