The League of Women Voters Manitowoc County and NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Manitowoc County are sponsoring a public forum on:

 “How School Based Mental Health Services Help Manitowoc County Students” on February 15, 2024 at the Manitowoc Public Library from 6:00 to 8:00 in the evening.

JENNIFER SCHNEIDER ~TWO RIVERS SCHOOL DISTRICT SCHOOL Social Worker

The Panel will discuss:

  • Mental health concerns identified among students in Manitowoc County
  • Mental health services being provided in the schools to address those concerns
  • How children are referred for services
  • Funding available for services
  • Parent involvement in treatment services and
  • How the community can provide support

There will be a question and answer period as part of this program.
