Promoting Transparency in Government

Promoting Transparency in Government

Hawaii is among the worst in the nation when it comes to being transparent about the way state government spends its money, according to an April 2018 study by the U.S. Public Interest Research Group.

We will continue to advocate for:

  • legislative reforms that assure voters that their legislature is adhering to constitutional mandates governing the legislative process
  • government websites that are created and maintained to give citizens the information they are entitled to know
