Our May Lunch Speaker is ​Jill Replogle. Jill Replogle is an experienced journalist and the Orange County correspondent for LAist, part of Southern California Public Radio. She focuses on helping residents understand and navigate the region’s rapid cultural, political, and environmental changes.

Before joining LAist, Replogle worked as a Fronteras reporter in San Diego, covering stories across California, Mexico, and Central America. Her work has appeared in outlets such as PRI’s The World, KALW, Current TV, The Miami Herald, Time.com, and The Christian Science Monitor. She holds a bachelor’s degree in geography from the University of Colorado Boulder and a master’s in journalism from the University of California, Berkeley. 

Replogle has also co-reported on LAist’s College Pathways project, exploring access to higher education, and hosted the LAist Studios podcast Imperfect Paradise, including the season “,” which examined housing and homelessness in Fullerton.
