The League of Women Voters of Santa Barbara will present a virtual information forum about Prop 50, the redistricting proposal on the Nov. 4 special election ballot. The forum is a Zoom webinar. No registration is required.

 

We will address the origins of the proposition, what it says, what it will do, what it won’t do, what proponents and opponents say about it, and how it will affect Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties. There will also be information about the mechanics of the special election, such as when ballots will be mailed, how to return ballots, the deadline for registering to vote, and other pertinent information.

 

There will be an opportunity to ask questions through the chat function of the webinar. The presentation will be recorded and will be available for later viewing on the LWV Santa Barbara YouTube channel in both English and Spanish.
